Resource and Information Centre

The Women’s Resource and Information Centre (WRIC) provides a safe and welcoming space for women to access information and resources about domestic and family violence and its effects on the lives of women and children.

All services at the WRIC are confidential and free of charge. Please call for an appointment.

Counselling

We offer specialist counselling in the area of domestic and family violence. Our counsellors can help you to understand the pattern and cycle of violence, identify risks and develop safety plans. They can also assist in recognising and working through the effects of violence and abuse on you and your children.

Information and Referrals

Our counsellors can provide information, advocacy and referrals for financial, health, housing, legal, counselling, employment, education and other matters.

Groups

We offer a number of groups throughout the school term. Groups vary during the year and may include understanding the effects of domestic and family violence, self-compassion, managing emotions, parenting children after violence has ended and personal safety training.
We also offer a number of creative and relaxation groups, such as craft and gardening.
