Gambling struggles – Breaking Free

Breaking Free
Was your partner abusive and did their gambling addiction impact your life….?
Or are you struggling with your own gambling habits after your relationship broke down? Gambling is often a secret experience and when it occurs alongside domestic violence, it can be hard to know where to turn for support. Breaking Free is here to provide that first step.
The Breaking Free program aims to support women (and women with children) who have experienced, or continue to experience, domestic violence and are also impacted by gambling.
If you are living in the Coffs Harbour LGA and are over 18 years of age, we offer specialist case management, focusing on strengths and building empowerment to support you through the struggles you face. We work together with local services to explore and address financial concerns, create safety, provide assistance with Victim Services applications, enhance connection between parent and child and provide support with family law matters.
